Fawlty Towers November 2014
Well, BIPS production of the incredibly brilliant "Fawlty Towers" By John Cleese and Connie Booth has come and gone. Two very funny tales from the second series - "Communication Problems" and "Basil the Rat"... And what a great success they were too. The plays were solidly directed by Wendy Huggins who kept everyone on track through the rehearsals. We played to packed houses who giggled, chortled and guffawed their way through the two episodes. Everyone agreed that although John Anderson's "Basil Fawlty" was brilliant, the real star of the show was Basil the Rat himself reacting superbly in his cage to the dialogue. A lot of work for just two evenings but well worth it. If you want to watch the shows, click here
