The Allotement and MOT
Bips entered 2 plays in the recent SCDA festival of one act plays, held on our home turf in Birnam Arts at the end of February. The festival attracted 10 entries in all including 3 youth plays. It turned out to be a very enjoyable four evening run of drama. Karen Michie directed MOT by Mike Tibbets, which starred Fran Norris and Billy Neilson. The play was placed third and will go through to the divisional round of the competition which this year will be held in Birnam so come along at the end of March and support Karen, Fran and Billy. Fran also directed The Allotment by Gillian Plowman which quite rightly won the award for best set. Liz, Lesley, Karen, Mel and Patti put on a flawless performance - well done them! The Allotment will be getting another airing later on in the spring so watch this space and come along and support Bips..
